Each Cotswold is made by a small family team in Kent, then packed flat for the courier. We cut and shape the reeded boards, fit the free liner, and box it with clear instructions so it comes together at home in minutes. Founded in 1982 with a wooden planter, and we're back to building them today.

The Cotswold wears a reeded log-lap face: smooth, ridged boards rather than open slats, for a cleaner line along a patio or path. Every board is treated with our own animal-safe Timbac, so herbs, salads and vegetables are safe to plant the moment it's built. It's non-toxic and never tanalised, with nothing harsh to leach into the soil.

At 120cm wide and 26cm tall, the Cotswold suits a border edge, a patio run, or the strip along a fence. A liner comes included in the carton, so wet soil sits against the liner and not the bare timber. Fill it, plant it, and it earns its place season after season.

I bought 3 x 3ft planters to edge the patio off. Perfect sizing Info. Arrived fully assembled.
They look good and feel solid. Im really happy with them.
Not sure if they've been treated or not, so may need to do that to stop them rotting. Gap at the bottom for water flow.

I don't do reviews, however these planters seem pretty sturdy and worth the money. Closest I could get was from b&q which were £3 more. Not put anything in them yet but looks like they will last. They don't have many reviews but I'd buy them again.

The Cotswold is designed to be floor-standing and sits flat on its own footprint, so it doesn't need legs to work. If you'd like to lift it for stronger presence or to keep it off a damp surface, you can stand it on pot feet or a couple of paving slabs. That raises it while keeping it stable.

The Cotswold has a reeded log-lap face, with smooth ridged boards for a cleaner, more solid look, where the Sussex uses open slats. The Cotswold also comes with a free liner included in the box, which the slatted range doesn't.
