I bought 3 x 3ft planters to edge the patio off. Perfect sizing Info. Arrived fully assembled.
They look good and feel solid. Im really happy with them.
Not sure if they've been treated or not, so may need to do that to stop them rotting. Gap at the bottom for water flow.
Happy customer.

I don't do reviews, however these planters seem pretty sturdy and worth the money. Closest I could get was from b&q which were £3 more. Not put anything in them yet but looks like they will last. They don't have many reviews but I'd buy them again.

No. This is the slatted height extension only, and the Sussex planter underneath is sold separately. Choose the same length as the planter you already own.

It is designed for the tan Sussex trough planter in 2ft, 3ft and 4ft lengths. Match the extension size to the planter size. It is not listed for the Square Sussex or other planter ranges.

No. The legs lift the whole planter clear of the ground. This extension sits on top and adds a second slatted tier for more growing depth.

Lower it onto the top of the planter, then secure it from the inside at both ends. The 3ft assembly guide shows an internal plate-and-screw fixing. Fit it before filling the planter so the fixing points are easy to reach.

The confirmed 3ft and 4ft technical packs show no base in the extension, so they continue the soil space in the planter below. The extension is not designed to be used as a planter on its own.

The cleanest method is to fit the extension before adding soil. If the planter is already in use, clear the inside corners before installation so the internal fixing points are easy to reach.

The current extension range is tan only. It is intended to match the tan Sussex planter, so do not choose it for a black planter if a matching finish matters to you.

No. These extensions match the 2ft, 3ft and 4ft Sussex trough planters. The Square Sussex is a different shape and is not listed as compatible.

The 3ft assembly guide shows four internal plates and eight 35mm screws. The planter itself is not included, so choose the extension only if you already own or are ordering a compatible Sussex trough planter.
